Greater Still

Greater Still

Great was the burden that I couldn’t bear
The sorrow and pain in this heart of despair
Great was the guilt, an unbearable load
The weight of my sin, and the debt that I owed.

But greater still was God’s grace
Mercy revealed, that the gross displayed
The victory was won on Calvary’s hill
But where sin is great, grace is greater still.

We’re called to follow but sometimes we fall
And though there is pardon he offers to all
It’s hard to escape, the pain and regret
When great are the failures that we can’t forget.

But greater still was God’s grace
Mercy revealed, that the gross displayed
The victory was won on Calvary’s hill
But where sin is great, grace is greater still.

Grace! Grace! God’s grace. Grade that will pardon and cleanse within.
Grace! Grace! God’s grace. Where sin is great, grace is greater still.

But greater still was God’s grace
Mercy revealed, that the gross displayed
The victory was won on Calvary’s hill
But where sin is great, grace is greater still.
Where sin was great grace was greater still.
